Wind River Environmental is seeking a Maintenance Technician to add to our team in Honesdale, PA!

$5000 Sign-On Bonus!

Job Summary:

In this field-based position, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing service and repair to sewage pump stations. This position involves electrical and plumbing tasks as well as confined space entry.

Pay:

  • $23-$27 per hour based on experience and licensing
  • $5000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible employees
  • Weekly Pay!

Shift Available:

  • Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Overtime is occasionally available.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs maintenance, replacement, and repair of lift station equipment.
  • Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing repairs
  • Assist in the installation, cleaning, maintenance, repair, and or rebuild of the mechanical equipment found in sewerage pump stations.
  • Performs diagnostic test to determine operating efficiency of equipment, permit and other document readings, and prepares reports.
  • Maintenance and repair of electrical control panels.
  • Responds to trouble alarms during normal working hours and after hours.
  • Work within confined spaces such as manholes, or wet wells.
  • Work may be performed in Confined Spaces.

Qualifications:

  • Authorized to work in the U.S
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Two or more years of experience performing lift station maintenance and repairs (preferred, but not required)
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to successfully pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical exam and road exams.
  • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
  • Must be able to meet physical demands of the position.
  • Must be able to lift over 65 lbs regularly.

Please note as part of the pre-employment process, candidates may be asked to complete a DOT drug screen, the DOT physical, and a company ride-along.

Work Environment

  • This is a physically demanding job that regularly exposes you to outside weather conditions and non-hazardous fumes. The role is approximately 60% physical and 40% driving.
