Position Summary:

This is a unique opportunity for the right person with an interest in Fleet as a career! Wind River has a diverse set of service vehicles in all eight weight classes, with operations all along the eastern seaboard of the U.S. You will assist with the administration of various fleet programs, including leasing, maintenance, fuel, permitting and licensing, while coordinating with the WRE field team to support the overall organization in meeting its growth and profitability objectives. The right person will need to be an organized self-starter and effective communicator who is looking to build their credentials as a Fleet professional!

Position Location:

• This position is based out of our Marlborough, MA office.
• Training will be in-office.
• Hybrid option (WFH & In Office Days) available after successful completion of training.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Administration of the various Fleet management databases containing the asset inventories and maintenance service histories, ensuring data is accurate and updated, and relevant reporting is thoughtfully designed and consistently produced.
• Administering the installed telematics system and fuel programs.
• Coordinate with the various leasing and vehicle vendors to execute new vehicle orders; obtain delivery status; and ensure registration and permitting upon delivery.
• Navigate state-by-state permitting and registration/titling requests and regulations. Ensure new and existing permit and registration compliance with Federal and State Law, to include UCR; IRP; IFTA; NYHUT; FHUT; A-901 and federal and state operating authorities.
• Coordinate pre- and post-acquisition fleet integration activities with the Mergers & Acquisitions team.

What skills and abilities are we looking for from the Right Candidate?

• Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent; College degree strongly preferred
• Some prior experience in trucking operations or fleet administration, with a working knowledge of state DMV policies & procedures and regulatory filings
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Outlook, & Word
• Prior experience using Fleet Management Software. Fleetio is preferred but not required.
• Exceptional time-management/organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
• And most importantly, an eagerness to learn and grow within the organization
