As our QC Inspector (Level 1), you will be a part of the Quality Department. As the QC Inspector is responsible for product quality verification. This includes the development of control plans and methods for incoming materials, work-in-process, and certification of compliance to customer specifications. This position is responsible for utilizing quality-related principles, methods, and techniques to verify the conformance of Winchester CM products.

  • Work with drawings, specifications, inspection and department procedures.
  • Flexibility to work flexible hours and overtime when needed
  • Capacity to work with minimal supervision

What will you be Accountable for?

  • Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
  • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions, calling for repairs.
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.

Collaborate across Winchester in a way that leads by example, holds people accountable and utilizes data to make informed decisions. Actively participating internally regarding, Engineering requirements, RMA’s, CAR’s, production requirements. Have a positive, engaged, and infectious attitude that's easy to work with and aligns with our culture.

  • Support a QMS strategy that aligns with Winchesters short- & long-term growth goals and compliments all departments.
  • Collaborate frequently with other departments to ensure priorities for OTD are met, and customer communication is supported.
  • Support Quality Management team to make informed product and process decisions and improvements.
