Winchester Community Mental Health Center is seeking a Medical Assistant/Med (Line) Tech to join our dynamic team. Must pass criminal background check. Fast paced job with high volume of patient calls and appointments. Part- time position, Mon-Fri with no benefits at this time. Pay is $13/hr.

A Medical Assistant/Med(line) Tech will serve patients by answering, responding and coordinating quality medical customer service. Opportunity to learn medical terminology and coordination of care. Answer and respond to faxes from Pharmacies, document, distribute and file medication messages to and from prescribers and assist with scheduling appointments over the phone. Maintains medication records and communicate effectively with Medical Providers and staff.. They will collect vital signs for clients, observe urine drug screens. Assist medication providers with daily information regarding patients.

Must pass criminal background check. Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
