Tasks

• Help with the biding process
• Product research
• Evaluate vendors based on price, reliability, capability and previous work history
• Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager the departments needs
• Estimating
• Specialty commodity tracking

• Supports Purchasing Coordinators and Managers
• Other duties as assigned

Abilities

• Basic working knowledge of purchasing policies, processes, and procedures
• Must have basic knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
• Hyphen BRIX/BuildPro experience preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Extremely well organized, able to multi-task and prioritize
• Attention to detail and persistence in follow-up
• Basic computer skills

Education & Experience

• High school Diploma or equivalent 
• Experience in purchasing: Home Building preferred
