The Builder Service Specialist will provide support to vendors, Ameritex construction and fellow purchasing team members as those teams work together to manage the working relationships between all parties. This individual should demonstrate a strong analytical ability and aptitude for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data in residential construction.

Tasks

• Provides feedback to Purchasing team on research findings and action steps for addressing outstanding/unpaid POs
• Supports Purchasing Coordinators in creating job start purchase orders and variance purchase orders for residential construction 
• Processes extra purchase orders (EPOs) per requests
• Work closely with the construction team to ensure that trade and material needs are being meet
• Assists in maintaining master trade partners list
• Work as a liaison between construction and the trades

• Confirm pre delivery Invoice to PO for accuracy
• Assists with quarterly rebate tracking

• Internal and External stakeholders informed of any material delays or problems
• Data Entry into BRIX
• Research possible new trade partners
• Supports Purchasing Coordinators and Managers
• Other duties as assigned

Abilities

• Basic working knowledge of purchasing policies, processes, and procedures
• Must have basic knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
• Hyphen BRIX/BuildPro experience preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Extremely well organized, able to multi-task and prioritize
• Attention to detail and persistence in follow-up
• Basic computer skills

Education & Experience

• High school Diploma or equivalent 
• Experience in purchasing: Home Building preferred
