MUST have strong mechanical background, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment. Experience with hydraulics & pneumatics strongly preferred!
LOCATION: Temple, TX
PAY: $25-36/hr, DOE
HOURS: MUST be available to work a rotating shift (2-3 weeks on day shift, 1 week on 2nd, 1 week on 3rd shift). Some overtime and 1-2 weekend days per month will also be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on our industrial manufacturing equipment (conveyors, presses, llifts, and other machinery).
• Assists with diagnosing and troubleshooting problems and downtime on all equipment. Replaces parts and components and makes other necessary repairs to machinery.
• May perform tasks such as fabrication, assembly/disassembly of equipment, measuring, cutting, burning, welding, pipefitting, etc.
• Reads, understands and applies mechanical and structural blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic diagrams, and circuitry.
• Orders and maintains inventory of tools and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• HS diploma or GED
• 1 year of industrial maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• MUST be able to work a rotating schedule (2-3 weeks on day shift, 1 week on evening, then 1 week on graveyard). Some OT and 1-2 weekend days per month is required.
• Knowledge of safe and proper usage of hand/power tools, including welders, cutting torches, and plasma cutters.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematic diagrams (hydraulic & pneumatic), and equipment manuals.
• Job requires tasks that involve pushing/pulling and lifting of 50 pounds, and standing/climbing in an 8-10hr shift.
