We are seeking experienced Weekend-shift forklift operators (Hours 6:30 am-5:00 pm) Saturday through Sunday, who have driven stand-up forklifts (Raymond/Crown experience is helpful) and have experience using RF scanning devices to complete warehouse functions.

What You'll Do

SUMMARY: Participates in the daily activities and operations of the Mount Juliet Distribution Warehouse. Performs an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, and organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. This position is responsible for operating and using industrial-powered stand-up forklifts that are RF-equipped to move materials throughout the Distribution Center and place products in designated areas.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Handle routine needs that arise in the receiving area
• Identify and maintain necessary equipment, tools, and supplies
• Perform maintenance in the receiving area area to maintain a neat and organized distribution center

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Retrieve and transport products to assigned destinations 
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with company and OSHA safety standards
• Continually meet production efficiency levels
• Maintain quality of work (Accuracy is key)
• Work independently and in a team environment willing to help in other departments and work overtime when necessary (Flexibility is a must)
• Consistently work scheduled shifts and be on time in order to comply with the company attendance policy
• Retrieve and place merchandise in trailers, pallet locations, and pallet racks
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

REQUIREMENTS 

Skills and Conditions of Employment: Previous operation of a Stand-Up Reach Forklift

• Prefer 1 year previous experience operating a Stand-Up Reach Forklift
• The ability to work the Weekend shift work schedule: currently Saturday through Sunday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm PM CT. This position requires schedule flexibility, as dictated by business demand and available resources including overtime at times 
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to pass the required OSHA CERTIFIED Written Test
• Must be able to pass pre-employment basic aptitude driving test
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must be able to communicate effectively with others.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to count accurately and efficiently

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
