What You'll Do

An organization’s culture is its DNA. It’s deeply embedded in our people’s values, assumptions, behaviors and attitudes. It’s what makes each company unique. Our culture aligns with our purpose, our values and our business goals. As an organization, we’ve been able to accelerate growth, improve team member engagement and help people feel connected to their jobs and our vision to create a better world through sport.

This internship role will support our efforts to continue developing and driving communications that engage and inspire Wilson team members. As a member of the People & Culture team, the Team Member Experience intern is responsible for generating a series of video content across our internal channels and LinkedIn page to build and strengthen our purpose, vision, and values, as well as strengthen our employer branding reputation as a global employer of choice, attracting and retaining top talent worldwide.

As a Team Member Experience intern, this person will have one main project assigned to them for the summer related to our internal communications strategy and development.

  • Create and deploy three video interviews with our team members to be shared on our LinkedIn channel, an issue of The W, our internal company newsletter, our intranet page, and/or other internal communication channels.
    • Brainstorm a name for the video series that aligns with our external branding and purpose, vision, and values.
    • Partner with the Global Brand Design team to create a graphic and logo for the series.
    • Identify the right people and leaders to showcase and relevant stories to tell in a video/podcast interview format.
    • Create video/audio content and collaborate with internal partners on producing and editing the content.
  • Ensure all communication messaging and materials are high quality, engaging, and consistent with our external brand identity.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with the editing and content formatting of the June-August issues of The W.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of internal events, intramural leagues, and Wilson Action Days (volunteer opportunities).
  • Ensure content on the intranet is up-to-date and that relevant communication is posted as needed.

What We're Looking For

Our intern will be working towards a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Sports Marketing, or Business

Additional qualifications will include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with team members across the organization and build relationships.
  • Strong POV on team members as an audience
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Professional and positive attitude
