What You'll Do

As part of a summer-long initiative, develop and present to stakeholders a data-backed merchandising plan to increase conversion on specified categories on the Wilson Family of Brand sites. This merchandising and product data plan will require the intern to develop actionable recommendations to improve the online retail experience for consumers, focusing on optimizing the consumer path to purchase and increasing conversion rate on the Wilson Family of Brand websites:

Improve Category Conversion Rate: Analyze the path analysis to identify where in the journey the consumer is abandoning their purchase intent. Using industry benchmarks and a competitive analysis, provide recommendations on how to improve product conversion and overall UI/UX optimization.

Optimize Product Data to Improve UI/UX: Complete a competitive analysis of specific categories to identify data opportunities to improve overall UI/UX on the Wilson Family of Brands sites. Working with the Business Units, scope and manage filling these data gaps, providing pertinent information needed for the consumer’s purchase decision.

  • Analyze and report out on results

Qualifications for our candidate will expereince in: 

  • Product data audit 
  • SEO optimization/implementation 
  • synthesizing traffic trends (exit pages, etc)
  • UX/UI/Merchandising opportunities
