We support a broad range of practice areas by integrating advanced project management principles and technology solutions, aiming to maintain and advance the firm’s premier market position.

The LPM program primarily focuses on delivering process improvements and data insights that support both legal practitioners and business services. The LPM Analyst will play a crucial role in advancing our LPM program, both maintaining our existing matter management solutions and supporting the design and implementation of large-scale strategic initiatives. This position calls for a dynamic, data-driven, process-oriented individual who is eager to partner with professionals across the organization and deliver measurable ROI.

Position may be tied to any of Wilson Sonsini’s offices or may be fully remote.

  • Supporting the development of tailored AI/LLM solutions to enable large-scale matter analysis for scoping, budgeting, and real-time matter management.
  • Maintain and enhance alert systems to ensure attorneys are proactively informed about financial performance.
  • Analyzing historical matter data to support accurate fee estimates and streamlined pricing strategies, collaborating deeply with the Pricing team.
  • Exploring and integrating technology solutions into attorney workflows in support of firm competitiveness.
  • Partnering with the Pricing and Finance teams to develop improved team infrastructure (workflows, checklists, knowledge repositories, etc.) to streamline and mature the LPM and Pricing functions.
  • Generating and presenting data analyses to illuminate matter performance and trends.
  • Supporting team awareness of practice technology and LPM trends across the industry.

Qualifications:

Skills:

  • Strong skills in data analysis and modeling, proficiency in Excel, and experience with visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI) preferred.
  • Experience with SQL and legal billing systems (e.g., Aderant) preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to produce professional, client-ready communications and reports.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule according to project demands.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
