As the Community Center Manager your roll is to help to facilitate the smooth running of the Community Center to support the Wilson School District family. This is a full-time exempt position with benefits with a competitive hourly salary of $23.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience); 12-month school year schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma, GED, or actively pursuing college courses.
· Preferred ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish fluently (preferred).
· Computer knowledge preferred.
· Ability to relate cordially with public and work well with interruptions.
· Ability to compose written correspondences.
· Work in Title 1 Schools or with homeless families
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma, GED, or actively pursuing college courses.

We are a Pre-K through 8th grade school district in Phoenix, Arizona, established as the seventh school district organized in Maricopa County in 1879 and named for Mr. W. J. Wilson, a school board member. The district name was changed in the mid-1930’s to Hawkins School. From Wilson to Hawkins to Ward to Skiff, the District was bought by Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and relocated to its current location in the early 1980’s and named Wilson Primary and Wilson Elementary, opening on Martin Luther King Day in 1985. The district boundaries cover an area from Roosevelt Street to the north; the Salt River to the south; 40th Street to the east; and 16th Street to the west.
