Job Summary

As Tractor Driver and Tour Guide you will be responsible for giving our guest tractor rides and leading tours of Wilson’s Orchard & Farm. As tour guide it is important that you are a good communicator, educator, personable, able to tell stories, and entertain guests. As a tractor driver you will be pulling a trailer with 20-30 guests, safe driving and attention to detail are imperative.

Main Responsibilities

• Work with management to organize and carry out tractor rides and tours of our Orchard & Farm.
• Ensure the safety of our guests, especially that the tractor is always operated safely.
• Ensure that the tractor and trailer are in good condition before and after tractor rides.
• Consistently provide outstanding service to all guests.Take care to represent the Wilson’s brand well in your interactions with guests.
• Work with management to organize and execute regular tractor and trailer preventative maintenance.
• Keep the tractor, trailer, and surrounding areas of the farm clean.

Other Responsibilities

• Work with other teams in the company as needed; when not giving rides or tours you may be asked to work in the Market, Smokehouse, or Orchard & Farm.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience driving tractors or manual vehicles with trailers.
• Highly competent, safe driver with valid driver’s license with excellent safety record.
• Hard worker.
• On-time, good time management.
• Positive, problem solving attitude.
• Respectful to all coworkers and customers.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance on the tractor, trailer, and other farm equipment.

Preferred Skills

• Strong mechanical abilities.
• Experience driving manual vehicles with trailers in hilly and rough terrain.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
