This position is also responsible for identifying and/or solving business and technical problems, developing a high level of expertise in an area of concentration and general background in other business areas. They also have responsibility for the training and development of staff accountants.Qualifications1. Technical and Professional CompetenceDevelop and maintain understanding of significant technical issues and recent developments in area of income and estate taxDemonstrate understanding and ability to correctly apply a broad array of appropriate technical pronouncements in a wide range of situations2. Engagement ManagementDevelop plans for specific engagements, directing, delegating and reviewing work of the staffComplete assigned tasks thoroughly, correctly and on schedule3. Quality ManagementProvide expertise and support that helps clients resolve problems in a timely mannerKeep management informed of progress/status, technical issues on an ongoing basis4.
