Administrative Assistant for Commercial Department
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Real Estate Department & Commercial Lenders. Monitor work and vacation schedules, quote loan payoffs, review the draw balancing report daily, process draws, clear exceptions, pull and organize production reports by lender, work on lenders’ exception reports, gather financial documentation, pre and post-closing, and generate payoff letters. Assist with scheduling customer meetings, work with lenders on community events, and coordinate solicitation, thank you, and acknowledgement letters for lenders. Explain, promote, and sell products and services of Wilson Bank & Trust. Participate in outside community activities as required. Adhere to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Knowledge of the lending process and familiarity with loan documents. Must have strong computer skills (Excel, Word, & Access). Must have strong organizational skills, the ability to handle a heavy workflow, and must be able to work independently, be a self-starter. Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to communicate with customers and other employees in a courteous and professional manner in person or by telephone. Must be able to work flexible and extended hours.
