Wilmington City School District is Hiring a Social Studies Teacher (9th-12th) Near City, OH

We are seeking a high school Social Studies Teacher beginning in the 2024-25 school year. Qualified candidates will have Comprehensive or Integrated Social Studies (AYA 7-12 or 9-12) license. 
WCS is working towards being a Trauma Informed District that focuses on relationships and resiliency within our employees and students. Currently, staff members are being trained in Restorative Practices to help build a sense of community, belonging, and interconnectedness. This work also aligns with the district's overall climate goal of Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports (PBIS). The Wilmington City School district encourages all staff and students to support a diverse and inclusive environment in which to work, teach, and learn. We are seeking staff members who are culturally responsive and embrace inclusion.
