Willow Valley is hiring a Therapy Aide CNA assists therapy patients, prepare patients for physical, occupational and speech therapy treatments by performing the following duties; and provides supportive services to entire rehabilitation team.

Wage:

• From $16.00/hr based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Models exemplary customer service and models care, compassion and trust toward Team Members and Residents.
• Transfers Residents in or out of bed, chair or wheelchair, or on/off of commode.
• Transports patients to and from therapy sessions via wheelchair or ambulation.
• Attends to personal, therapy related, needs of the patients; including toileting and dressing.
• Secures patients into or onto therapy equipment.
• Observes patients waiting for or during therapy.
• Safeguards, motivates, and assists patients practicing exercises and functional activities under direct eye contact of physical therapist.
• Assists with routine treatments such as hydrotherapy, hot and cold packs, and paraffin bath, if in direct eye contact of therapist.
• Ability to work effectively as a Team Member.
• Cleans work area and equipment regularly, including disinfecting equipment.
• Restocks linens and supplies.
• Demonstrates good organizational, time management, and planning skills.
• Inventories and requisitions supplies and equipment.
• Assist in scheduling of Residents and Therapists for screens, evaluations and treatments.
• Performs clerical duties, such as answering telephone, taking messages, faxing and filing paperwork.

Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required and must be maintained.
• Complete Relias/other trainings as required.
• Proficient with computerized software.
• Must have own motorized transportation to commute between facilities as required. 

Hours:

• 30 hrs/week

Schedule:

• 9:30am-6:00pm

• Both Campuses of Willow Valley Communities
