We are currently seeking an experienced Psychiatric Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our growing practice. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide highly specialized, comprehensive psychological services promoting overall health and well-being to adult clients
• Provide psychiatric evaluations, formal diagnosis, medication recommendations, and psycho-pharmacology education to patients
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust medications based on patient presentation and need
• Document evaluation, follow-up, contact, and termination notes
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans based on individual needs
• Refer clients to other providers as appropriate and coordinate client care
• Participate in weekly group supervision and coordination of care for mutual patients
• Coordinate patient care with the Director of Psychiatry and/or Supervising Psychiatrist
• Prepare and process patient paperwork including prior authorizations, medication refill requests, disability applications, etc.
• Complete continued education credits as required by the Pennsylvania State Licensing Board

Required Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Medical Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) License
• Active DEA License

Education:

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited college/university

Experience:

• 2 years post-graduate experience working in a clinical outpatient setting
• 2 years experience working in psychiatric medicine (inpatient or outpatient) preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications:

• Motivated to develop strong clinical skills in psychiatric medicine 
• Comprehensive knowledge of DSM-V diagnoses and diagnostic criteria
• Basic computer and internet skills

Pay Grade:

• Independent Contractor (1099) Status
• Pay Scale I: $65-85/hour
• $150/year Continued Education Reimbursement
• $130/month Health Insurance Allowance Benefit
• $35/month Telehealth Software Reimbursement
