Job Overview: As a Global Sourcing Manager for Joint Design Manufacturing (JDM) and Contract Manufacturing (CM) you will be responsible for implementing best in class subcontract management practices that leverage new and existing relationships with JDM and CM suppliers.

• You will work closely with internal business partners to align technology roadmaps and drive partner selection and critical sourcing decisions. This includes building long-term strategic relationships, developing new suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and payment terms, and owning standard costs for the products.
• You will work closely with the Willow Product and Hardware Engineering team on sourcing and all NPI activities to enable successful product launches and ensure a sustainable build plan and supply that supports the forecast at the lowest possible cost.
• You'll ensure that Willow has the optimal manufacturing partners, supply chain, and operations to support our accelerating scale and product road map.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic analysis and benchmarking of JDM/CMs to ensure competitiveness and proper alignment of product technology, engineering/manufacturing proficiency and supply chain capabilities
• Own the RFQ process, should cost modeling and Master Agreement execution
• Manage cost reduction activities, PPV, and spend with suppliers
• Develop, negotiate and measure supplier metrics/KPIs and scorecards across key categories of cost, capacity, delivery, quality, technology
• Work with manufacturing partners on CTB to ensure support of demand forecast
• Work with Project teams to ensure new product readiness, transition and rapidly ramp and reach time-to quality and volume on new products
• Work with Project teams to implement ECOs with minimal to no scrap
• Take key data points and analyze and provide options for change implementation
• Hold ODM partners accountable for managing Tier 2 suppliers to agreed upon T&Cs
• Drive capacity planning process at the factories to ensure adequate lead time to add equipment and tooling as required by demand forecasts.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with management, and ensure executives from Willow and our supplier partners are aligned and executing on key objectives

What you'll bring:

• 10 years of experience in supplier management, engineering and manufacturing BS/MS/MBA in Engineering or Supply Chain
• Domain expertise with Global JDM/CM management & product development processes
• Exceptional business acumen to manage product cost, and supplier relationships
• Experience in supplier selection, contract negotiations and supply base management
• Sourcing for NPI and production in high volume (preferably consumer or consumer medical devices)
• Familiar with consumer electronics product development cycle and mass production challenges
• Strong negotiating and analytical skills; problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Experienced in TCO analysis in an outsourced environment, including make vs. buy
• Strong understanding and experience working inAsian Countries
• Able to travel internationally as needed, up to 25%
