What we expect from you - we are looking for a reliable professional with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to facilitate care and treatment for multiple patients per day. Proven dental phone skills, scheduling multiple columns and multiple providers. A minimum of 1-3 years of dental experience is required. Dentrix experience is preferred. Attention to detail and personal accountability, humility, honesty and a high standard of integrity - doing what you say you will do, ie: call patients back, utilizing the short-call list to get patients in sooner when we have cancellations, and ability to follow through on assignments to completion will aid in your success. We foster an environment where those who are teachable and willing to do better, while also being accountable for mistakes will thrive. It is also important that our employees are willing and able to bring suggestions and solutions to management in an effort to make our organization the best we can be. What you can expect daily - a fast paced office, follow up on and schedule unscheduled treatment, schedule multiple treatment appointments for each patient, make out-bound calls to fill the doctor's schedule, receive industry-leading phone training to successfully manage new patient calls, present financial arrangements and treatment plans to patients, and calculate and accept payments and co-pays. We are currently offering a $100 SIGN-ON BONUS as well. If we hire you, we will pay you $100, so please apply today!

Responsibilities

  • Present patients with FAs after Doctor presents treatment at the appointment
  • Calculate and collect patient portions and accept payments
  • Schedule future appointments for each patient
  • Help facilitate same-day treatment
  • Support the dentist with all new patient care
  • Answer the phone and schedule new patient appointments

Qualifications

  • Experience with patient ledgers and Dentrix
  • Oral Surgery and Hygiene scheduling is a plus
  • Experience working in accordance with HIPAA and other medical privacy laws
  • Professional, confident and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients
  • Personal accountability and attention to detail required
  • Ability to multitask and make informed decisions accurately and quickly
  • Experience working in a high-volume dental office and delivering exceptional care
  • Positive attitude
  • Dental knowledge

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45,760.00 - $58,240.00 per year
