Willis Mechanical Inc. is seeking an experienced Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Service Technician. In this position, you will be responsible for a wide range of refrigeration troubleshooting and service for ammonia applications.

Required/Recommended Education, Skills, and Experience

• Knowledgable of ammonia refrigeration systems and components
• Able to diagnose and make repairs to a variety of industrial refrigeration systems
• Ability to read and understand equipment layouts
• Respond to emergency service calls for ammonia refrigeration systems
• Have extensive knowledge of compressors, controls, and a variety of HVAC equipment
• Adhere to strict safety procedures and regulations related to ammonia refrigeration
• Ability to work both alone and with a team of technicians

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience in refrigeration service with ammonia
• Hold Ciro and Caro certifications
• Physically able to work at high elevations and lift objects up to fifty pounds
• Pass a physical examination and respirator fit testing
• Availability to be on call on nights and weekends, as needed
• Have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Organized, self-motivated, and a strong work ethic

Pay and BenefitsWillis provides a vehicle, fuel card, and uniforms. Experienced Ammonia Refrigeration Technicians receive paid holidays and three weeks of Paid Time Off. The employees' health, dental, and vision insurance is covered by Local 72. Employees also have access to the Willis Mechanical 401K program.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, working 8 hours/day, Monday through Friday. Travel to new customers and job sites is expected.
