Williamson County Schools School Age Child Care is Hiring a Recreation Leader Part-time Franklin, TN Near Franklin, TN

Summary

The Williamson County School's School Age Child Care program (SACC) is currently hiring part-time child care workers at WCS elementary school locations in Franklin, TN.

We are looking for people who enjoy working with elementary age children and enjoy leading recreational games.

  • We are looking for people who enjoy working with elementary age children.
  • Morning Shifts are Monday-Friday from 6:30-9:00 am, afternoon shifts are 3:00-6:00 pm
  • Flexibility with days of the week and shifts worked. 
  • Responsibilities include leading activities, overseeing up to 20 children, handling basic redirection and discipline.
  • Extra $2 an hour pay during the school year for working morning shifts
  • Pay starts at $14.28 up to $20.06 an hour, based on experience

Duties

Child Care Worker Responsibilities include:

  • Actively supervising up to 20 children in grades K-5 with recreation activities
  • Engaging in enrichment based activities
  • Assisting with snack
  • Supervision on the playground
  • Leading activities and games
  • Providing basic first aid as needed
  • Assisting with check in/ out of children
Requirements

SACC workers must meet the following requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Satisfy a criminal background check
  • Paid or volunteer child care experience
