Williams is hiring a Mechanic! This position is responsible for diagnosing, adjusting, and repairing our fleet vehicles, semi-trucks, and various light equipment and trailers.

Iron Rentals, our fleet and equipment rental company, is responsible for keeping a fleet of over 150 vehicles (and growing!), equipment, and trailers running and in tip top shape. 

What You'll Do:

• Diagnosis and Troubleshootin g: Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in fleet vehicles, light equipment, and trailers.
• Adjustments and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to oil changes, brake adjustments, tire rotations, tire changes, and fluid checks, to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of vehicles and equipment.
• Repairs: Ensure timely and efficient repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment, addressing issues such as engine malfunctions, transmission problems, and brake failures.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs, adjustments, and maintenance activities performed on fleet vehicles, light equipment, and trailers.

What You Bring: 

• Three or more years experience as a Mechanic, with expertise in diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles, equipment, and semi-trucks.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Welding experience (MIG, TIG, Stick, Wire Welding) is a plus.
• Experience with semi-truck engines and systems, side dump trailers, and transfer dump trucks.
• Experience with oxy acetylene torch is a plus.
• Experience with tire break down and tire balancing machines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
