Williams Lea is hiring for a Technical Trainer for our New York City office to work Monday to Friday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm! Job qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with years of experience able to substitute Minimum of 4 years prior training and curriculum-building experience for corporate presentations or related field Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Office certification a plus), especially PPT presentations; Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, other a plus) Adept in leaning client/department-specific technology/software and ability to assimilate new technical skills Advanced software and hardware troubleshooting, as necessary to perform job functions; ability/desire to learn new software packages and/or training processes Mature, level-headed with strong interpersonal skills for working in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts competing for priority and tight deadlines Good judgment and organizational skills with sound decision-making ability and solutions-oriented approach to multitask and prioritize workload under pressured objectives Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively deliver training sessions to audiences (both live and virtual) of various degrees of knowledge and sophistication Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information Job duties (* denotes essential function) *Design, develop and conduct appropriate trainings and requisite training materials (instructor- led and/or electronic) for employees and/or clients *Lead training from start to completion, ensuring quality at all stages *Lead requisite, contractual, compliance or various other trainings for employees and/or clients; may include creation and implementation of “downtime” exercises or training-needs assessments *Build relationships with end users; guide expectations and perceptions, as needed *Field ad hoc training, calls or other communications to provide technical troubleshooting Gather and track training participant feedback; create and maintain best practices for training program, processes and materials Remain engaged with and aware of new technical developments in the field, with the client(s) and/or with account(s)/team(s) to ensure training materials and processes are relevant, timely and innovative Periodically evaluate and execute quality assurance testing for new software Provide soft skills training for staff and collaborative support to Shift Managers as needed Train new hires on company policies, workflow procedures and company branding/style Serve as POC to liaise between Account Manager and client Who we are: In a rapidly changing world, the ability to innovate and break new ground drives progress.
