Williams College is pleased to announce an opening for an Administrative Coordinator in our Mathematics and Statistics Departments. As the main contact for the Mathematics and Statistics Departments, you will oversee a wide variety of activities required for the department to run smoothly. Under the limited supervision of the Department Chair, you will not only manage the administrative and financial work needed to keep the office functioning, but also many other tasks to ensure a coordinated work effort among various college departments and outside contacts.
The Administrative Coordinator will support the mission of the college to provide a nurturing educational environment. The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for supporting 23 faculty members, including a rotating chair. To accomplish this, the person in this position will be responsible for tasks including, but not limited to:
Application review will begin on April 25, 2023, and will continue until the position is filled. Pay range is from $20 to $24 per hour, commensurate with experience. Job band 19.
