Williams Buick GMC is looking for a dependable and energetic Express Technician to join our team! This is an entry level opportunity within our service department to learn our products and train. If you are a recent Technical school graduate, have been working as a lubrication tech, or just interested in car repair this opportunity is for you! Our Express Lube services over 50 cars a day by changing oil, rotating the tires, topping off fluids, replacing filters, and other basic maintenance. Responsibilities:

• Adhere to express lube guidelines
• Perform lube, oil and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints, including idler arm steering knuckles, tie rods ends and ball joints
• Receiving and carrying out Repair Orders as dispatched
• Perform vehicle inspections to determine maintenance needs
• Report all necessary repairs to service advisor
• Install completed LOF reminder sticker in vehicle
• Check battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid and power steering fluid levels and refills as needed
• Check coolant level and refills as necessary
• Ensure that vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints
• Check fluid level prior to release of vehicle to ensure proper levels
• Maintain CSI at or above Company standards
• Provide estimates for needed repairs
• Performing Quality Control checks to ensure repairs are complete
• Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services
• Maintaining organized, clean workspace and accounting for dealership and personal tools at all times
• Communicating directly and efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees
• Participating in continual proprietary training/education programs to hone skills and develop expertise in industry-leading automotive technologies and processes.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ensures that customer’s cars are kept clean
