Qualifications

Required:

• Bilingual in English/Spanish
• Prior experience in an administrative assistant role and speaking with clients/customers
• Computer Skills - Windows, MS Office

Desirable:

• Experience in pre-litigation role as a legal assistant or case manager
• Experience ordering and gathering medical records, police reports, wage loss documentation, DMV filings, policy searches, etc...
• Experience handling automobile property damage claims

Duties: Dependent on level of experience

• Provide Spanish interpretation and translation of documentation for clients
• Answering phone and distributing mail
• Ordering, gathering, and tracking medical records and bills
• Requesting police reports
• Obtaining wage loss documentation
• Processing DMV filings
• Ordering policy searches
• Perform intake for new clients
• Opening claims with insurance companies
• Open medical liens with Medicare, Medi-Cal, etc...
• Assisting other case managers and attorneys as needed

Education

• Minimum High School Degree or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
