Essential Functions

• Prepare tax returns for individuals and all business entity types (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnerships, Fiduciary, Non-Profit, gift, etc.)
• Prepare complete, well-documented sets of working papers in support of tax return preparation process
• Prepare various written correspondence with clients and tax authorities
• Clear verbal and written documentation
• Possess critical thinking for problem solving and effectively communicate solutions to problems
• Perform tax research and planning
• Stay current on accounting and tax law matters
• Provide a high level of professional service and quality
• Utilize Firm resources in providing "full service" to our clients

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 1-3 years in Public Accounting or Internship in Public Accounting
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Lacerte tax software experience a plus
• QuickBooks experience is a plus
• GAAP experience is a plus
• Ability to use independent judgment in determining procedures and processes
• Ability to work accurately and quickly in a fast paced, high compliance environment
• Ability to work with all levels of management and staff
• Ability to work independently as required
• Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
• Strong problem-solving, and decision making abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
