Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for medical services. Your expertise in medical coding, billing systems, and medical terminology will be essential in this role.

Duties:
- Review and analyze medical records to accurately assign appropriate codes (ICD-10, DRG) for diagnoses, procedures, and services rendered
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies or other third-party payers
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials, and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Process payments from insurance companies and patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and billing information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing issues
- Stay updated on changes in coding regulations and reimbursement policies

Skills:
- Proficiency in medical coding systems (ICD-10, DRG) and medical terminology
- Strong knowledge of medical billing processes and procedures
- Experience with medical collection practices
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills to interact with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients

Pay: $22.75 - $26.00 per hour
