Description

Local Residential Home Builder is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator for our Dallas area office. This position is responsible for maintaining the credibility of the Purchase Order System and providing support for all Information Systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that every division construction start has complete and accurate purchase orders
• Administrate new subcontractor processing and execute system generated purchase orders
• Enter and process new data into the system
• Perform daily updates between systems
• Review all master sets of Plans, Building Specifications, and Vendor Scopes of Work with Division Construction/Purchasing personnel
• Assist Division personnel with system operating issues
• Check and review system reports for accuracy
• Provide additional support to the divisions as needed

• Must be highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Possess good analytical skills
• Ability to read and comprehend construction blueprints
• Good technology skills and software knowledge including Microsoft Outlook (email), Microsoft Office, Brix, and Bluebeam
• Experience with a residential purchasing database system

Required Experience/Education

• 2 years prior experience in residential single family home purchasing
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience
