Endeavor is seeking an assistant to two senior employment law attorneys at Endeavor, a sports, media, and entertainment company. The job will involve supporting SVP, Deputy GC, Global Head of Labor & Employment and a VP & Counsel of Labor & Employment in the Americas, working with all of the businesses under the Endeavor umbrella on employee-related legal matters. Though this is an assistant-level position, there will be opportunity for the right candidate to engage in meaningful work relating to employment disputes, and various contracts, including employment agreements. The ideal candidate has graduated from law school, a strong legal acumen, some familiarity with temployment-related contracts or employment law and an insatiable desire to learn more. The job entails basic administrative assistant work (rolling calls, maintaining a calendar and tracking projects, preparing and maintaining client files) – but the right candidate also will be able to handle substantive work under the direction of two attorneys. Exact scope of responsibility will depend on the candidate’s demonstrated capabilities. This is a unique opportunity for anyone interested in learning about employment law matters at a major agency. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Coordinating meetings between outside counsel and appropriate internal parties Being tuned in and present on all phone calls Tracking and maintaining contract databases Basic administrative duties such as scheduling, calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense report management Maintaining attorney calendars and files efficiently and accurately Performing clerical duties such as filing, document preparation, redlining, and document distribution Providing pre-litigation employment dispute support Assisting attorneys with special and/or highly complex and confidential projects Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s degree Juris Doctor degree strongly preferred Prior experience in a legal office environment supporting executives strongly preferred Skills and Abilities Comfortable in a fast-paced environment A flexible personality and positive attitude Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task projects Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality Endeavor unites and brings people together in our love of sport, culture, and entertainment.
