We're looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer that is curious and open minded when it comes to technology. You’ll be working on a microservices architecture responsible for the Sportsbook Betslip, Cashout and Build Your Odds for William Hill's UK, Spanish and Italian websites.What you will be doingTranslating functional and non-functional requirements into working software with your teamWorking closely with the team to analyse, debug and resolve any defectsA commitment to monitoring and observability, trying to find performance issues or bottlenecks in advanceEnsuring technical debt is managed effectively (avoid creating it & remove it whenever there's opportunity)Communicate clearly with everyone, translating non-technical and technical requirements appropriately to stakeholdersUnderstanding timelines and dependencies, coordinating with teams around youTaking responsibility for product delivery and your contributions to itWho we are looking forWe are committed to responsible gambling, and we are looking for people who can support our ethos.
