Seeking an experienced Design Build Construction Project Manager. Excellent career opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage client communications, updates, relationships, and expectations
• Communicate project timelines, schedules, and overall expectations to the internal team
• Adhere to the design, scope of work, material selections, timeline, and overall budgets
• Manage contract scope of work; routinely identify and manage adjusted work orders with clients
• Collaborate with the accounting team to request and manage monthly invoices per contract terms
• Verify the production of accurate monthly cost projections which forecast total estimated costs at completion
• Work with accounting team to ensure the preparation of timely Owner Billings via the verification of quantities/billings from subcontractors and suppliers
• Review and approve sub labor purchase orders and ensure invoices match against existing purchase orders
• Communicate directly with on-site staff including the Superintendent and Subcontractors to go over full details of project cost, staffing for individual projects, as well as scheduling
• Attain a thorough and complete understanding of the Project Contract, all subcontracts, drawings, specifications, procurement items and PO’s
• Proactively identify design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project specific issues in collaboration with the assigned Project Superintendent
• Maintain appropriate documentation throughout the project including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal logs
• Have a thorough understanding of interpreting plans and specs for building and construction
• Communicate daily with owners, tenant reps, construction managers, and superintendents to optimize project success
• Address media relations per policy in conjunction with the project superintendent

Requirements

1. 3 or more years of Design Build Construction Project Management experience.

2. 3 or more years of Construction Estimating experience.
