The DietaryManager leads and manages the dietary operational activities for hospital andclinic. The position’s major responsibilities are managing all day-to-dayoperations including the delivery of care, human resource management, capital andoperational budgeting, equipment oversight, financial management, and performance improvement activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Approve time off and work schedules to assure proper staff coverage.
- Responsible to meet budgetary targets.
- Determine, write, implement and update patient and employee safety policies.
- Ensure staff comply with safety and regulatory program requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must be flexible inschedule availability; i.e. available to cover shifts not filled/callouts andemergency situations.
- Previous supervisory experiencepreferred but not required.
- Certified Dietary Manager
- Maintain Serv Safecertification.
- Must be able to lift up to andincluding 50 pounds at a time.
