- Minimum age of 16.
- Prefer hold a valid state driver's license.
- Good grades, possibly teacher recommendation.
- Reads and understands technical information.
- Assembles, erects, positions and labels items of equipment.
- Unboxes new student devices including chromebooks and iPads.
- Engraves devices for student use for security purposes.
- Sets up system hardware components and peripherals.
- Requires concentration and attention to detail.
- Takes responsibility for tools and plant and test equipment.
- Maintains and adheres to operational procedures and completes appropriate documentation.
- Communicates effectively to colleagues and other staff.
- Remains flexible as this position experiences frequent interruptions.
- Multi-tasks and meets time-sensitive deadlines.
- Maintains appearance and conduct suitable for working with students and other district staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Requires prolonged standing, sitting, bending, stooping, crawling and other physical exertions.
- Required to work on ladders.
- Required to lift and carry heavy supplies, materials and equipment over fifty (50) pounds.
- May be required to drive between sites.
