Position Summary:
Willamette University invites applications for a part-time Psychology instructor for Spring 2023. The successful candidate will teach up to three courses (two sections of Introduction to Psychology and one 300-level courses (1 per semester) in a subdisciplines of psychology in the applicant's area of expertise.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Willamette is a small, highly selective private university of 2600 students, 1500 of them enrolled in our undergraduate College of Arts & Sciences; other schools include the Atkinson Graduate School of Management, the College of Law, and the Pacific Northwest College of Art, which enrolls both undergraduate and graduate students. We are located in Salem, Oregon, the state capital, which lies 45 miles south of Portland. The Department of Psychology currently has six full-time faculty members. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A terminal degree in Psychology (e.g. PhD). ABD with teaching experience considered.
  • Must be able to reside in or primarily work in Oregon by the first day of employment. This is an in-person teaching position.
