Description
- BSN; or RN degree from a regionally accredited college with two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- NYS License as a Registered Nurse. Certification in CPR.

Who we are looking for:
- Is the designated on call medical supervisor to programs staff on the individuals we serve medical issues.
- Supports staff in their role with regard to medical care and treatment of the individuals we serve.
- Trains and supervises staff responsible for administering medication in programs (according to the OPWDD medication curriculum).
- Reviews and revises programs medication practices for compliance with OPWDD regulations, agency policies and the Nurse Practices Act.
- Supervises the storage and documentation of medications and all medically necessary information
- Participates in self-medication assessments for the individuals we serve and evaluates their ability to self-medicate =
Qualifications
- A valid NYS driver's license and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required. Daily access to an automobile.
