Wildwood Montessori School is a private Montessori school located in LaMonte, MO. We are entering the 4th year of our innovative preschool program and are GROWING into a full-through school. We are seeking individuals who value early childhood learning, have a growth mindset, and are looking to GROW with us. Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of young children and our community? Wildwood Montesssori is looking for a patient and compassionate preschool teacher who has experience working with children ages 2-3 and/or 3 to 6 years old. The assistant preschool teacher will help lead developmentally-appropriate activities that encourage healthy physical, social, and emotional development for students. Our school operates on a traditional school calendar, the position would begin July 2024 and contracted for the 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in creating and implementing age-appropriate lessons
• Foster a classroom environment of safety and respect
• Perform daily cleaning routines to keep facilities sanitary and safe
• Prepare and facilitate snack-time throughout the day
• Participate and facilitate in Arts integrated projects
• Keep parents and families updated on their students’ daily activities and progress using BrightWheel childcare software

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• 1 years of experience working in Child Development or a related field
• Ability to work creatively and flexibly

Preferred Qualifications:

• 12 completed ECE units OR seeking diplomacy
• CPR and First Aid Certification (LSP will provide upon employment)
• Experience working in a Montessori environment
