Overview:
We are seeking an Expeditor to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring the efficient flow of food from the kitchen to customers' in our pool area.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate food orders between the kitchen staff and servers
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to recipe and company standards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to avoid delays
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas
Experience:
- Prior experience in a restaurant setting, preferably in a role involving bussing, food preparation, or expediting
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between kitchen and serving staff
- Basic knowledge of culinary practices and food safety guidelines
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Hospitality industry experience, such as working in a hotel or restaurant, is a plus
