Video & Photo Supervisor

Job Description:

The Video & Photo Supervisor is responsible for overseeing our video and photo sales booths entirely. They are responsible for daily operations and meeting the quarterly/annually goals. The Video & Photo Supervisor ensures that all cameras and hardware are well kept and functioning properly and provide direct leadership for the Sales team. The supervisor is responsible for keeping track of all merchandise and other equipment needed on site. They assist staff with understanding goals set by the General Manager, update numbers throughout the day, and help them reach their sales targets.

Their duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Supervising and leading sales staff during shifts
  • Developing Sales Coordinator 
  • Organize and coordinate sales representatives schedules and training 
  • Learning the photo and video system and troubleshooting when necessary
  • Motivating the sales team to meet goals
  • Ordering supplies and effectively managing inventory
  • Maintaining general booth organization, cleanliness, and stocking of merchandise
  • Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
  • Meet all sales quotas and goals
  • Assist sales representatives and team to meet and exceed goals
  • Completing weekly reports for the Guest Service Manager

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Demonstrated and proven sales results
  • Knowledge of diversity and inclusion in the workplace
  • Experience working on a sales floor or in a retail related position 
  • Experience in a supervisor or manager role an asset 
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot various systems
  • Confident and able to keep staff motivated
  • Ability to self-motivate and take initiative
  • Strong leadership presence in the workplace
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new skills
  • Ability to consistently achieve high standards of work in all aspects of the role

  • Physical demands include standing, sitting and occasional bending/twisting/ kneeling/use of ladder

Work Relationships:

The Video & Photo Supervisor answers to the Guest Service Manager and works closely with Duty Managers. They provide direct leadership to all Sales Associates and Sales Coordinators. They may need to communicate with our third-party media company.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, seasonal role that requires a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business. This includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. The peak season typically runs from May to mid/late September.
