Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join our team. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of students in our school. You will provide medical care, administer medications, and promote a safe and healthy environment for all students.

Duties:
- Provide direct care to students who are injured or ill during school hours
- Assess and evaluate student health concerns and provide appropriate interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all students
- Monitor immunization compliance and ensure necessary documentation is obtained
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions
- Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics and promote healthy lifestyle choices
- Respond to emergencies and provide basic life support as needed
- Perform venipuncture for necessary lab work
- Coordinate with external healthcare providers, such as hospitals or clinics, for specialized care or referrals

Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in the state of [state]
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
