SUMMARY: Safety employees tend to any/all injuries on Soaky Property for guests and staff within their medical license (AEMT or Paramedic). Safety is responsible for park walks to check on all areas of the park. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Provide basic clinical life support, emergency care services and basic first aid to park guests and staffProvide examination and screening of guests/staff within regulations, company policies and Medical Director protocolsLift and place patients on stretchers, golf carts, stair chairs or into an ambulanceMaintain adequate medical supply inventoryComplete all reports for any care givenComplete park walks and reportsAssist with facility inspections and safety auditsPerform all duties in a safe, courteous, confidential and professional mannerConform to all safety rules and regulationsMaintain a valid Advanced EMT or Paramedic License SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Level 3High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Level 3Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Level 2Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: Level 4Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
