Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Take customer orders and process transactions accurately using a POS system
- Handle cash and credit card payments, ensuring accuracy and security
- Assist customers with any inquiries or concerns they may have
- Upsell additional products or services to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow food handling and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely order preparation and delivery
Requirements:
- Strong math skills, including proficiency in retail math and basic math calculations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to upsell products and provide recommendations to customers
- Experience operating a cash register or POS system is a plus
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food handling practices is a plus
- Cash handling experience is preferred, but not required
We are looking for a detail-oriented Counter Person who can provide exceptional customer service while efficiently processing transactions in a very busy atmosphere. The primary shifts will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights 10pm- 2am, with the ability to pick up shifts during the week.
