POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of all equipment to ensure safe operation. This position will focus on repair, construction and rehab of park buildings and facilities.

• Perform repairs to buildings and park facilities as directed.
• Construction of new in-park kiosks, stages, fencing, decks and building upgrades.
• Construction of event displays, stages and signage.
• Responsible for assisting the entertainment team in constructing haunted houses and scare zones for Fright Fest
• Work with team members to ensure the complete compliance of the manufacturer’s specifications and park standards.
• Maintain all appropriate documentation.
• Communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor any hazards that arise to ensure the safe completion of repairs.
• Assist the Amusement & Water Park Maintenance Teams with projects as needed.
• Be a proactive member of the maintenance team.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 1-3 years of previous carpentry experience; experience in an Amusement Park setting desired.
• Must have a valid WA driver’s license.
• Must have skills and knowledge of general carpentry practices.
• Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and electricity a plus.
• Communicate effectively and appropriately with all guests, co-workers and management.
• Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task, work independently and have a positive attitude.
• Ability to trouble-shoot problems and present solutions for a variety of situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• General math skills including, but not limited to basic algebra, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and the ability to read measurements.
