Overview:

We are seeking three reliable and compassionate pet care associates to join our team! We are looking to fill two types of positions:

1. Deep cleaning position- Focused on maintaining the cleanliness of animal enclosures.

Days/hours for this position:

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; 8:00am - 10:30am

Extra hours may be available if needed

Duties of this position include (but are not limited to):

- Follow specific cleaning instructions provided by training and the store cleaning guide

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets while cleaning their main enclosure

- Provide proper communication with manager and pet care team

- Sweep and mop at the end of every shift

2. Store/Pet Care Position- Focused on operating and maintaining the basic cleanliness of the store, following daily feeding and watering schedules, ensure all daily animal/store duties are completed (duties will be split among pet care associates as scheduled)

Days/hours for this position:

Wednesday-Sunday; Afternoon shift, 10:00am-2:30pm; Evening shift 2:30pm-7:00pm

Extra hours may be available if needed

Duties of this position include (but are not limited to):

- Follow specific care/cleaning instructions provided by training and the daily store guide

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets daily (general spot removal and tidying of enclosures as needed, not deep cleaning)

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for customers daily

- Provide proper communication with store manager and pet care team

- Sweep and mop at the end of every shift

Qualifications:

- Must love animals!

- Experience in animal care or related field is a bonus but not needed for the position

- Ability to handle (or learn to handle) animals with confidence and care

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, store manager, and

pet care team

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

- Reliable transportation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
