We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Recruiter to join our team! This is a unique opportunity to be in a start-up environment, with the backing of the largest meat producer of the world. This is a role for someone who is looking for an entrepreneurial challenge in a company with aspirations to be leaders within the retail food industry.

As a Recruiter at Wild Fork, you’ll become a brand ambassador and the gate keeper in sourcing, attracting and hiring the right talent for our company’s culture. You will handle the recruiting life cycle from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring successful hiring and retention of associates for your region.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake meeting with hiring managers and HR Leaders to determine the best practices for recruitment by specific job requirements.
  • Customize job descriptions to help identify the best talent and key words for sourcing.
  • Have a solid knowledge of the complete recruitment function, including: researching, sourcing, networking, behavior-based interviewing and understanding company values.
  • Become an “expert” in your market, building knowledge and insight of hiring trends, competitor landscape and resources unique to your area.
  • Execute sourcing, screening, interviewing and engagement strategies to grow pipeline of potential candidates.
  • Demonstrate diversity awareness and utilizes sourcing techniques that reach diverse population.
  • Develop relationships with Colleges, Universities and Non-Profits Organization to bring brand awareness and participate in career fairs and events.
  • Support with company internship program recruiting and hiring.
  • Manage current candidate activity through Jobvite, our applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Disposition all candidates in a timely manner.
  • Assist other recruiters with difficult markets in finding candidates.
  • Schedule phone, in-person, or web-based interviews with hiring managers and the other interviews for all qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and partake in our regional selection committees (Panel Interviews); ensuring all participates are present.
  • Follow up with hiring managers to get feedback and direction for next steps.
  • Prepare and present offer letters to qualified candidates.
  • Conduct background checks and set up pre-employment drug screenings for candidates post job offer.
  • Send onboarding paperwork and welcome letters to new employees.
  • Partner with HR Leaders to plan the send out of new hire training plans.
  • Complete I-9 Verification as needed.
  • Conduct exit interview forms and send to Talent Acquisition team.
  • Employee must be prepared and flexible to perform associated and related job functions that are not specifically identified in this job description.
  • Need to be able to Travel at least 20% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience required
  • Exposure to managing large requisition loads required
  • Experience with ATS; Jobvite, ICIMS, Hiretual etc...
  • Thrives in an incredibly fast pace environment
  • Passion for Wild Fork & our mission
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills
  • Strong relationship building & communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Basic computer knowledge such as MS Outlook, Excel and MS Word
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
