The Wilburton Inn is a historic hotel and event venue.

We are looking to add an experienced dishwasher to our team for our summer season of weddings and catered events. You will be responsible for cleaning dishes, pots and pans, and glassware, using a commercial dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. If you have food prep skills, you will assist in food prep as well. You will be responsible for kitchen clean up, following a checklist and safety code. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to work quickly. We are looking for individuals who work well with a team and pay close attention to detail.

This is a part time position. Events are typically held on weekends through October. We are looking for 2 people to cover the various shifts. Each position will be 15-25 hours.

Dishwashing may be needed midweek on Weds- Thursday, but will definitely be on Fridays, and Saturdays during the day, Saturday eventing and some Sundays in the morning.

You should have your own transportation and be punctual and reliable. Compensation depends on role and experience. Please send resume detailing restaurant or kitchen experience and your availability starting now through the end of October.

Responsibilities:

Follow food preparation and service standards.

• Wash dishes and clean kitchen area.
• Clean pots, pans and other hard surfaces
• Take out trash and recycling
• Mop the kitchen floor at the end of shift

Qualificationst
- Previous restaurant or banquet experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a team setting
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week

Weekly day range:
