**General Purpose and Scope of Position**:

The National Distribution Manager drives and oversees on-going continuous improvement efforts in warehouse management and logistics processes and related tools in the national distribution network. This includes strategic and project management oversight of warehouse management systems and dispatch/telematics solutions. This role also drives ongoing continuous improvement efforts for inventory receiving, organizing/storing, counting, picking, and delivery dispatch.

**Key Skills and Abilities Include:**

* Strong experience in warehouse management and delivery dispatch

* Expertise in project management through all aspects of the project lifecycle, including implementation and transition to maintenance support

* Continuous improvement, Six Sigma, Lean or similar training is preferred

* Ability to evaluate supply chain costs and drive efficiencies, particularly in warehouse and delivery operations

* Map current processes, recommend improved, sustainable, and measurable solutions as well as identify further opportunities for improvement

* Ability to comprehend, manage and utilize ERP systems and warehouse management and dispatch systems

* Provide coaching and training of systems & processes

* Identify and assess improvement opportunities through diagnostic efforts and data analysis

* Design and implement metrics to effectively measure operational performance

**Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:**

* Drive warehouse management and delivery dispatch efficiencies, reliability, and responsiveness through effective development and utilization of people, process, and infrastructure. Top-level objectives include management of cost, compliance, quality, safety, customer service, and efficiency.

* Lead warehouse management system roll-out across division warehouses, including supporting process development, training, and on-site implementation.

* Planning and Collaboration:

Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain team(s), AgVerdict team, and DOT teams to determine needs and set priorities

* Delivery:

Coordinate with Operations Directors, District Manager, and Center of Excellence (COE) to implement warehouse management and delivery dispatch systems and processes.

Provide training and day to day support

Work with other Data Governance team to ensure master data integrity and governance with respect to warehouse management and delivery dispatch systems

* Infrastructure Management:

Implement performance metrics, and reporting standards for warehouse management and delivery dispatch in alignment with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Manage policy, process, and infrastructure development programs as necessary to achieve division-level strategic objectives.

* Leadership and Communication:

Develop organizational awareness, understanding, and support for the adoption of best practices.

Communicate the impact of changes in commercial, regulatory, or internal expectations on the organization.

**Job Requirements**

* BA/BS degree with a specialization in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or Business Administration or related field

* A minimum of 5 years previous experience in warehouse management, dispatch/logistics, or operations management

* Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

* Willing to travel up to 50%
