Salary Range: $20/hr

What you’ll do?

The Assembler 1 will perform light duty assembly tasks for finished goods production to ensure on time delivery to the schedule and meeting our customers’ expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use mechanical and hand tools
• Be able to prepare and install inserts and rivets for assembly
• Follow simple instructions from Supervisor
• Identify and report safety hazards in the workplace
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to determine that components are in good condition prior to assembly work
• Ability to assemble electromechanical components (valves and motors,) and harness
• Ability to understand basic drawings and diagrams
• Ability to close and pack finished goods
• Attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations
• Compliant to the Ocupational Health and Safety Rules

What you need to be successful in this role:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Recommended Training
• Related work experience
• Sheet metal/assembly (preferred)
• Sheet metal or electromechanical component assembly
• Basic Math (counting, addition/subtraction)
• Problem Identification
• Basic blueprint or wire diagram reading
• Use of mechanical and hand tools
• Hand Eye Coordination and Dexterity for Small Objects
• Reading simple instructions

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, Walking
• Manual dexterity
• Working in hot and cold environment
• Ability to Lift up to 50lbs occasionally
