Wilbanks Trucking Services is hiring Class A CDL Gin Truck operators.

Job Duties:

• Maintain a valid CDL and if cited or ticketed; advise company Safety Department for processing and Operations Department for either civil or criminal ticket.
• Drive Gin Truck with “Wide Loads” in a professional manner and obey all traffic laws at all times.
• Supervise assigned Swampers.
• Daily, complete and turn in Work Tickets, Logs, Inspection Reports and Repair Needs Slip when needed.
• Knowledge of disassembling, moving and assembling oil drilling rigs.
• Load and set tanks.
• Knowledge of truck lifting capacities.
• Knowledge of the proper rigging and weight limitations of bridles and chains.
• Knowledge of gin pole and assembly block operations and rigging. 
• Knowledge of Oil Rig Equipment weights, strengths and the safe distribution of the equipment on trucks and trailers. 
• Capable of identifying loads that need Load Assist.
• Operate and inspect various winches.
• Understands operation and limitations of winch and winch lines. 
• Knowledge of applicable oil field standards and codes.
• Perform daily Pre-Trip and Post Trip inspections and required reports on truck, trailers and all operating equipment.
• Properly secure loads.
• Identify oversize loads with appropriate signs and flags.
• Assist in directing the loading and unloading of truck and accept final responsibility for load position and tie down.
• Assist others with loading an unloading, when time allows.
• Ensure all customer / well names, job site and other required information is acquired and entered on Company paperwork.
• Perform daily maintenance and inspections of trucks, trailers and equipment.
• Work as a Team with Pushers and other Swampers.
• Subject to Company needs, Slick Back Drivers are required to work overtime, after hours and weekends.
• Follow Company Safety Policies and Procedures at all times.
• Communicate fully and effectively with Dispatchers and Drivers.
• Advise Safety Department off all near misses and / or incidents.
• Lift 100 pounds.
• Understand and follow map and verbal directions in English.
• Perform all other duties as assigned from time to time by supervisors.
